Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate new business growth for a leading Electric Vehicle (EV) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. Based in Berlin, you will be responsible for driving market expansion across Germany and the wider DACH region, targeting key sectors such as fleets, real estate, local authorities, and commercial enterprises.

This role is focused on winning new logos, building a strong pipeline, and positioning our platform as a critical enabler of EV adoption, charging infrastructure optimisation, and energy management

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify, target, and secure new SaaS customers across strategic verticals (fleets, property, public sector, C&I).
  • Develop and execute outbound and account-based sales strategies to generate high-quality opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract close.

Pipeline & Revenue Growth

  • Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline aligned with ambitious revenue targets.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM reporting.

Client Engagement

  • Engage senior stakeholders (C-suite, Heads of Sustainability, Fleet Managers, Asset Managers).
  • Understand customer challenges and position SaaS solutions effectively (charging management, energy optimisation, billing, smart charging, data insights).
  • Deliver impactful product demonstrations and tailored proposals.

Market Expansion (DACH Focus)

  • Develop a deep understanding of the German and DACH EV and energy landscape.
  • Navigate local regulations, incentives, and market dynamics to unlock opportunities.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the region.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing on regional campaigns and demand generation.
  • Partner with Product and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term customer success.
