About the Role

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Technical Project Planner to support the delivery of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role focuses on the technical planning and execution of ground-mounted solar projects, guiding them from concept through to construction and completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and design the technical implementation of open-field photovoltaic systems
  • Prepare detailed specifications, tender documents, and manage contractor selection
  • Evaluate and validate supplier bids, including cost and profitability analysis
  • Support projects throughout the construction phase, ensuring alignment with technical plans
  • Oversee technical documentation and maintain cost control across projects

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical planning of photovoltaic systems (ground-mounted or rooftop)
  • Background as a technician, master craftsman, or holder of a technical degree (e.g. electrical engineering, civil engineering, or metal construction)
  • Experience in project costing, tendering, and initial project delivery
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cost estimation/tendering software (e.g. AVA-Plan)
  • Structured, independent, and results-driven approach to work
  • Confident decision-maker with a proactive mindset
  • Fluent German language skills and strong communication abilities
