Lisbon, Portugal | Project Development Manager

We are partnering with a strong Independent Power Producer (IPP) with an international pipeline around 4GW throughout. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for a Project Development Manager to join their Lisbon-based team.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects through the full development lifecycle up to Ready-to-Build (RTB). Once projects reach RTB, they are handed over to the technical and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of a portfolio of greenfield projects through to Ready-to-Build (RTB)
• Coordination and interface with local designers, development teams, and technical stakeholders
• Collaboration with external land scouts, including support in closing agreements with landowners and maintaining ongoing relationships
• Oversight of project documentation, reporting, and land contract management
• Conducting technical assessments of projects and sites (using QGIS and AutoCAD)
• Origination activities, including constraint analysis and preliminary due diligence
• Support and management of permitting processes (AU, PAS, VIA) for medium- and high-voltage projects
• Proactive role in identifying opportunities, monitoring project progress, and resolving operational issues

• Up to 5 years of experience in project development
• Strong background in PV projects
• Design engineering experience is a significant advantage
