A highly innovative infrastructure startup is building a next-generation industrial power network designed to solve one of the largest constraints facing AI, data center, and industrial growth in the United States: access to scalable power.

The company is developing HVDC-based macrogrid infrastructure that directly connects generation, storage, and large-scale industrial load through a private transmission and power delivery platform. Their model is focused on dramatically improving “speed-to-power” by reducing interconnection bottlenecks and enabling faster deployment of critical infrastructure projects.

Operating at the intersection of energy infrastructure, transmission development, and AI-driven power demand growth, the business is building a first-of-its-kind platform with significant long-term scale potential.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead highly project finance-heavy infrastructure financings across project-level and platform-level structures
• Architect and execute debt, equity, JV, and structured capital solutions
• Negotiate directly with lenders, infrastructure investors, and private credit providers
• Structure construction debt, mini-perm facilities, and warehouse lines
• Underwrite transmission, generation, storage, and load economics
• Support large-scale infrastructure development tied to AI/data center and industrial demand growth
• Build scalable capital stack and financing frameworks as the platform expands

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years of experience across project finance, infrastructure investing, structured credit, or infrastructure capital markets
• Proven experience leading complex financings from origination through close
• Strong background in development-stage infrastructure or energy assets
• Experience within IPPs, infrastructure developers, transmission, digital infrastructure, or large-scale energy platforms strongly preferred
• Hands-on operator mentality with strong execution and negotiation experience
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment building a new infrastructure category
