Line manager: Production ManagerDepartment: OperationsAs a Shift Supervisor, you will provide hands-on leadership, technical excellence, and ensure process compliance on a 24/7 operational basis within our food manufacturing environment. You will be accountable for maintaining shift-to-shift safety (Food and HSE), GMP, hygiene standards, communication, and overall operational cooperation. This role involves supervising a dedicated team to ensure optimised coverage, enhance team capability through training, and strictly enforce all standard operational routines.LocationEnough B.V.Nijverheidsstraat 74551 LASas van GentNetherlandsKey responsibilities:- Develop and foster a unified, cohesive, and disciplined shift team; provide hands-on supervision of panel and plant operators.- Set, manage, and monitor team objectives and training targets; hold team accountable to operational standards.- Monitor operational performance; provide feedback and take corrective action; execute the production plan.- Ensure strict compliance with Food Safety & Hygiene, HSE, GMP, Operational Protocols and Standard Operational Routines.- Oversee QC and sampling procedures with accurate data recording; perform Panel Operator tasks when needed.- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities; ensure effective shift reporting on KPIs and batch records.Job Experience & Knowledge (summary): Technical operations background (food/biotech preferred); experience as Production/Operations Supervisor desirable; knowledge of Food Safety, HSE, GMP, Hygiene, and sampling operations.Personal Attributes (summary): Hands-on, physically fit, decisive, strong leadership/influencing/communication, fluent in Dutch and English, development potential.Company Initiatives: Take responsibility for Health & Safety; support company initiatives and values; comply with legal/regulatory obligations; participate in training; be flexible.
