Job Description

Position Summary : The Training Program Manager is responsible for the strategic development and execution of training programs within the organization. This role encompasses reviewing, designing, and maintaining training programs, materials, and content to ensure they are current, accurate, and effective. The Training Program Manager also keeps abreast of new training techniques and industry requirements and identifies opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency through training initiatives. The position includes conducting training sessions and overseeing training budgets to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and Design Training Programs: Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to review and design training programs that align with organizational goals and employee development needs. Develop and update training materials and content to ensure they are current, relevant, and effective in achieving desired learning outcomes.
  • Stay Informed and Adapt: Continuously monitor industry developments, new training methods, and evolving training requirements applicable to the organization. Adapt training programs and materials as needed to remain in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Identify Improvement Opportunities: Identify opportunities for improving operations or addressing challenges through training initiatives. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs that address specific business needs and challenges.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions personally or facilitate training through subject matter experts, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and make necessary improvements.
  • Budget Management: Establish and adhere to approved training budgets. Prepare, implement, and manage the training budget to ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet training goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/P.G degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in designing, conducting, and managing training programs.
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records and track training progress.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends and training requirements.
