Regional Technical Sales Engineer - Remote with Travel

Piper Maddox is partnered with a global leader in advanced filtration and process treatment solutions on a search for multiple Sales Engineers / Technical Sales Managers to support their continued U.S. expansion.

This organization is a market leader in providing high-performance filtration solutions to heavy industrial sectors, helping customers optimize operations, improve environmental performance, and reduce operational risk.

This is a high-impact, commercially driven role focused on developing and expanding relationships across key industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of industrial filtration solutions and service-based offerings into heavy processing industries
• Develop and manage a regional territory, leveraging an existing customer base while actively generating new business opportunities
• Engage with customers across oil & gas, refining, chemicals, steel, recycling, and biogas sectors
• Lead technical sales processes from initial engagement through proposal development and close
• Partner with engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to complex industrial challenges
• Maintain strong relationships with plant operators, engineers, and procurement stakeholders
• Travel to customer sites (~50%) to support business development and project execution

Background & Experience

• 3–10+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development
• Proven experience selling into industrial processing environments
• Background in process equipment, filtration systems, industrial services, or similar technical solutions strongly preferred
• Experience working with industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, wastewater, steel, or energy
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex, solution-based sales cycles
• Self-starter with a hunter mentality and ability to operate autonomously within a territory
